CANDIDATE PETITION - HELP ME GET ON THE BALLOT!
$10,440.
That is what it costs for a United States House of Representatives candidate to get on the ballot in Florida.
However, in place of paying this fee, candidates can collect 2,564 petitions. (UPDATED as of January 7, 2026 - due to Governor Ron DeSantis' plans to do mid-cycle redistricting, for this cycle only, the number of petitions has been reduced to this number)
That sounds like a lot, but WE CAN DO THIS.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. DON'T I HAVE TO LIVE IN YOUR DISTRICT?
For the rest of this election cycle, those who sign petitions are not required to live in District 15. This is due to the April special session to discuss redistricting in the Florida State Legislature. Any registered voter in the state of Florida can sign a petition.
2. DON'T I HAVE TO BE A DEMOCRAT?
No, party affiliation does not matter for petitions.
3. WHAT IF I WANT TO CONSIDER OTHER CANDIDATES IN YOUR RACE AND WANT TO FILL OUT PETITIONS FOR THEM?
You can! Petitions can be filled out for multiple candidates in the same race. Petitions are only to help a candidate get his or her name on the ballot.
4. I'M NOT READY TO COMMIT TO A CANDIDATE JUST YET.
No problem! Filling out a petition does not commit you to me as a candidate. This is for no reason other than to help allow my name to be included on the ballot.
5. WHY DO I NEED TO INCLUDE MY ADDRESS AND DATE OF BIRTH OR VOTER REGISTRATION NUMBER?
The only reason for this is so that your county's supervisor of elections can verify that you are a registered voter to validate the petition. Please be assured that my team and I will always protect your private information, and the petitions only go from me to the Supervisor of Elections' offices.
