That is what it costs for a United States House of Representatives candidate to get on the ballot in Florida.

However, in place of paying this fee, candidates can collect 2,564 petitions. (UPDATED as of January 7, 2026 - due to Governor Ron DeSantis' plans to do mid-cycle redistricting, for this cycle only, the number of petitions has been reduced to this number)

That sounds like a lot, but WE CAN DO THIS.

REQUIREMENTS:

​

• You MUST live in the state of Florida. (UPDATED as of January 7, 2026 - due to Governor Ron DeSantis' plans to do mid-cycle redistricting, for this cycle only, we can now accept petitions from voters outside District 15 as well as within the district)

• Only ONE petition per registered voter (multiple petitions CAN come from within the same household)

• The petition MUST be filled out by hand and in ink. No digital signatures are allowed. Please fill out completely with the following:

  • Printed full name​ as it appears on your voter information card

  • Date of Birth or Voter Registration Number

  • Address (if the same as on voter registration. If not, the petition will not be validated)

  • City

  • County

  • State

  • Zip code

  • Signature

  • Date Signed
